Advair Accuhaler is available in 3 strengths - 100/50 100/50, 250/50 and 500/50, containing 100, 250, and 500 mcg of fluticasone propionate, respectively, and 50 mcg of salmeterol per inhalation. Recommended dosage for patients 12 years and above is 1 inhalation two times a day, preferable 12 hours apart. Recommended starting dosages for patients 12 years of age and older should be upon current asthma therapy of individual patients.

How Advair Discus works

It should be administered by the orally inhaled route only. All patients on Advair Accuhaler should preferably be shifted to the lowest effective strength once their asthma has stabilised.
