For all of the above conditions, for child patients, the use and dose must be determined by the doctor.
How Protonix drug works
Patients with liver disease should inform their doctor before taking Protonix as the condition may require change in medication or special dose adjustments or monitoring. The tablets should not be crushed, chewed or split, but taken whole as they are specially formulated to release the medication slowly in the body.
